Turning a new leaf - Winter 2014

Owner and Founder Drew Lindholm [pictured], grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota, and earned a Bachelor of Science in [commercial] Real Estate Studies from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Drew worked in the commercial real estate industry until the founding of New Leaf Landcare in 2015 when he saw an opportunity for a new business bringing together his experience in the commercial real estate industry with his business knowledge and skills in the landscape trade. Drew’s grew up working for his fathers lawn and landscape company, which gave him over 12 years of industry experience prior to founding New Leaf Landcare. The decision to incorporate was made over the winter of 2014/15, and New Leaf Landcare was officially launched on March 24th, 2015. The transition from the corporate world of commercial real estate into life as a small landscape business owner was drastic, and in many ways had felt as if Drew was turning a new leaf in his professional career. Thus the name New Leaf Landcare was chosen to represent new beginnings and opportunities. We haven’t looked back since.
