Ice control can be achieved through either pre-event (anti-icing) or post-event (de-icing) applications. We use sodium-magnesium and/or calcium chloride (rock salt) for both preventative and post event applications, and liquid salt brine can be used to treat walkways and lots prior to ice events to prevent or lessen bonding of ice to the surfaces.
